You Deserve Better Than Generic Shoulder Rehab

Shoulder pain keeps you from training, working, and doing the things you love. Traditional PT isn't built for people who need to get back to full strength fast.

You Can't Lift Without Pain

Overhead movements, bench press, and shoulder-intensive exercises trigger sharp pain or instability. You're stuck modifying every workout.

Rest Isn't Fixing It

You've tried ice, stretching, and taking time off. The pain goes away temporarily, but it always comes back when you return to activity.

You Need Real Solutions

You don't want temporary relief. You need a plan that addresses the root cause and gets you back to performing at your best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about shoulder pain treatment? We've got answers. If you don't see what you're looking for, reach out and we'll be happy to help.

What types of shoulder injuries do you treat?

We treat a wide range of shoulder injuries including rotator cuff tears and strains, shoulder impingement, labral tears, frozen shoulder, bursitis, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Our focus is on active adults and athletes who need performance-driven care, not generic treatment plans.

How is Movement Lab different from traditional physical therapy for shoulder pain? Movement Lab is built for athletes and active adults. We offer 1-on-1 care in a performance facility with turf, sleds, and weights—not just treatment tables. Every session is personalized, and we focus on getting you back to your sport or activity stronger and more resilient than before. We use advanced recovery tools like dry needling, cupping, and shockwave therapy to accelerate healing.

Do I need a referral to get started? In most cases, no referral is needed. Nevada allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can schedule your evaluation without seeing a doctor first. We'll assess your shoulder condition and create a personalized treatment plan right away.

How long does it take to recover from shoulder pain?

Recovery timelines vary depending on the severity of your injury and your goals. Some clients experience significant improvement in 4-6 weeks, while others with chronic or complex injuries may need 8-12 weeks. We'll create a realistic timeline during your evaluation and adjust your plan as you progress.

Can I continue training while recovering from shoulder pain?Absolutely. We specialize in keeping athletes active during recovery. We'll modify your training to work around your injury, build strength in other areas, and create a plan that keeps you moving without causing setbacks. Our goal is to keep you as active as possible while we address the root cause of your pain.

What should I expect during my first visit? Your first visit includes a comprehensive shoulder evaluation where we assess your injury, range of motion, strength, and movement patterns. We'll discuss your training history, goals, and what's holding you back. Then we'll create a personalized plan to get you back to peak performance.
